Welcome Pack
Your welcome pack is your first little hit of Solo Season magic with trip details, personalised packing tips, off-trail ideas, and our visual gear guide. Time for you to start getting hyped.
Trip WhatsApp Group (Approx 1 month before trip)
We’ll add you to a private WhatsApp group for your trip. This is where we share updates, answer questions, and start connecting the group before you even hit the trail. Grab the WhatsApp phone application if your don’t already have it.
Weather check-in via WhatsApp group (Approx 1 week before trip)
The guides will be monitoring the weather across a variety of channels. They will share a predicted forecast and what this might mean for your trip. Also take this time to ask any of your last minute questions. No question is silly. One week, letsss go.
Gear Check & Briefing in Hobart (Day 1 : 4pm at location tbc closer to date)
Our first in-person meet-up in Hobart. We’ll run through the packing list as a team to ensure we haven’t forgotten anything, and rationalise anything you may be unsure about. You get your hands on your supplied gear and we’ll run through how to pack it together.
Dinner On Us (Day 1: After gear check)
We get to hang out in a relaxed way as a group, and get to know each other before the adventure begins. You will head back to your accommodation after dinner. Please note: Day 1 accommodation is not included in the package price.
The Trail (Day 2: Start times vary based on hike)
Time to hit the trail! We set off on our 3 day: 2 night, skills based, guided overnight hike with transport, shared meals, skills-based learning, and plenty of fun along the way. Note: Quick breakfast will be in Hobart or on route depending on hike/time of year (this is not included in package price).
Return Gear (Day 4)
At the end of the trip, we’ll collect the Solo Season gear, before we jump back on the bus.
Post-Hike Celebration Stop
We finish with a relaxed pub or winery stop (guests to cover their own purchases here). This is a chance to decompress, refuel, and reflect together after the hike.
Drop-Off in Hobart
We’ll safely drop you back to Central Hobart (or the airport if arranged). We will aim to be back in Hobart by 5pm. Please note: Do not book flights which depart before 7pm on drop-off date.
Share the Memories/Photos
We encourage everyone to share photos via chosen platform to revisit the highlights and keep the post-hike buzz going.
Feedback & Reviews
We’ll send a short feedback form and a review link. Your thoughts help us keep improving and support a small, women-led business!
