EOI Freycinet Fun - 25th to 28th of March 2026
Wednesday March 25, 4:00pm AEDT - Saturday March 28, 5:00pm AEDT
Come hike Freycinet National Park with us! We’ll show you the ropes (and the best views) so you can fall in love with overnight hiking and head home ready to chase down every trail you’ve ever dreamed of.
If you could only choose one coastal hike to do before you die, we think this might just be it. The Freycinet Circuit is the perfect blend of turquoise bays, white sand beaches, and rugged pink granite peaks; everything Tasmania is famous for wrapped into one unforgettable loop. Anyone who’s ever researched Tassie knows the view of the towering Hazards above Wineglass Bay, but not everyone gets to experience the full magic of the peninsula on foot.
Our journey begins with a walk to Cooks Beach, where we set up camp beneath the stars. The next morning, we lighten our load and summit Mount Graham with day packs, soaking up sweeping views of the Freycinet coastline before returning to our gear and continuing on to Hazards Beach Campground for afternoon treats by the water. An early rise sees us crossing the Isthmus to Wineglass Bay for breakfast and a morning swim before looping back to the van for our return to Hobart—tired, stoked and potentially salty.
